Account Deletion – Finviro
This page explains how to request deletion of your Finviro account and associated data.
How to request deletion
Primary method: In-app deletion
Delete your account directly from the Settings page in your dashboard. Navigate to Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone section, and click Delete Account.
Email deletion requests must include:
- •Your registered email address (must match the account email)
- •Optional: platform used (Android / iOS / Web)
- •Optional: reason for deletion
Verification required
All deletion requests require identity verification. Email requests must originate from your registered email address. For alternative verification methods, contact support.
What data will be deleted
Identity & Access
- User Account - Your profile information, login credentials, and email
- User Preferences - Currency preference, dashboard layout, and all settings
- Budgets - All budgets created for your accounts
- AI Insights - Generated insights and chat history
Connected Bank Accounts (Plaid)
- Bank Account Data - Links to external financial institutions
- All Account Types - Depository, credit, loan, and investment accounts
- Transaction History - All synced transactions from connected accounts
- Investment Data - Holdings, securities, and portfolio information
Manual Data
- Manual Accounts - All manually added accounts
- Manual Transactions - All manually added transactions
Analytics & crash logs
If analytics or crash reports are linked to your account identifier, they will be deleted as part of the request.
Anonymous or aggregated analytics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for platform improvement purposes.
Deletion timeframe
In-app deletion: Processed immediately upon confirmation.
Email requests: Processed within 7 business days of verification.
Important notes
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- After deletion, you will lose access to your account on Android, iOS, and web.
